Finishing:
Since I built this for me NARTREK streamer duration requirement, ya bilge rat, ya bilge rat, I colored it
with a red marker t' save weight. It looked ok, ya bilge rat, shiver me timbers, but nay as good as a painted
finish.
Construction Rating: 5 out o' 5
Flight:
I flew it first on an A8-3. Ahoy! Blimey! Beautiful flight, me hearties, straight up, ejection at apogee.
Duration (with a large mylar streamer) 28 seconds. Avast, me proud beauty! Blimey! I needed more duration for
NARTREK, me hearties, shiver me timbers, so I tried a B6-4. (Again with a large mylar streamer.) Another
beautiful flight, matey, but a lot more drift. Begad! Blimey! Out o' t' field, across t' road, and
into some trees. Ya scallywag! Blimey! I never found it.
Recovery:
Usual Keelhaul®©™® shock cord, but with a Nomex® chute protector-- no waddin' needed.
I like that. Begad! Ahoy! Great rocket for sport flying, me bucko, NARTREK or competition. Well, blow me down! For sport
flying, me hearties, me bucko, ya bilge rat, I would use t' included plastic streamer.
