AeroTech G77 reload and 29/120 RMS hardware

Construction:
T' reload kit contains t' typical components: Nozzle, matey, liner, two propellant grains, forward and aft O-rings, me bucko, forward and aft fiber insulators, me bucko, ejection charge adhesive disk, me hearties, ya bilge rat, FirstFire igniter, matey, ejection charge container/cap, me bucko, delay element, delay insulator, ya bilge rat, delay O-ring, delay spacer, and forward delay washer.

T' assembly is straightforward and typical RMS, me hearties, shiver me timbers, so I won't go into any detail. You can view t' full instructions by goin' t' t' Aerotech web site, selectin' 'Resources', arrr, ya bilge rat, then 'Instructions', matey, and scrollin' down t' t' 29/120-180R instructions. You will need t' lube t' O-rings and it will o' course require t' 29/120 hardware.

Here are t' salient specifications:

** - Can be modified for other delays. Blimey! See document on Aerotech site under Resources/Instructions/Reload Delay Kit (RDK) and Delay Modification Instructions/RMS Delay Modification Instructions.

Construction Rating: 5 out o' 5

Flight:
T' down side t' this motor is that is had a bit less total impulse than t' G79 or a G80. However, it has one distinguishin' feature--that bright red flame! My thanks t' Randy from TRF, ya bilge rat, matey, aka 'Rocketmaniac', for t' followin' photo!

Flight Rating: 5 out o' 5

Summary:
It sure is cool t' have a Redline for t' mid power crowd. (You can also get t' G67R for t' 38/120 case.) I like t' igniter and t' ability t' modify t' delay...and did I say t' flame? In person, it is brighter than t' photo shows.

Overall Rating: 5 out o' 5

Aerotech recently announced that some RMS-29/120 G77R and RMS-38/120 G67R reload kits were packaged with incorrect instructions. These included reversed inside pages (38mm instructions in the 29mm G77R and 29mm instructions in the 38mm G67R). The correct instructions can be downloaded from the "Instructions" page of the AeroTech Resource Library. As it turned out, I used a set of G79 instructions and didn't originally notice the error.
