Estes Super Shot Deluxe Screw MachineBrief:
6 piece rocket that can be customized in length and fin shape.

Construction:
As a newcomer t' model rocketry I have broken and lost many rockets and equipment. One RTF that caught me eye be t' Super Shot Deluxe Screw Machine by Estes. I needed a new launch pad so I decided t' purchase it. Begad! $19 at t' local Wal-mart be quite a steal as t' retail is around $40. Ahoy! T' rocket is a little short o' 4 feet tall and actually has sections that unscrew and has 3 different sets o' swappable fins. Begad! I really like t' screw design o' t' tubes and t' different types o' fins because they allow t' rocket t' be customized up t' 12 different ways.

T' rocket took me about 10 minutes t' assemble, it be a snap. Aye aye! (I made it with all 4 tubes for maximum length o' course!) All you need is some CA (glue) t' hold t' body tubes t' t' connectors, snap on t' desired fins, tie on t' parachute, ya bilge rat, and you are done. Blimey! After preppin' t' motor and tapin' me address t' t' body tube, me hearties, ya bilge rat, me hearties, I left for t' launch site. Begad! T' first launch was on a B6-4, me hearties, which disappointed me with a height o' only around 100 feet. T' second and 3rd time I launched it with a C6-5, and o' course, me bucko, it went considerably higher at around 500-600 feet. Ahoy! Recovery was easy through t' 18 inch chute, and on all 3 flights it landed within around 200 feet o' t' launch site.

Finishing:
T' body comes with a wrap already applied and thar are no decals. Avast, me proud beauty! There is nothin' t' do cosmetically except tape your name t' a fin so you have a chance o' retrievin' a rocket if it happens t' land in a neighbors yard without you knowing.

Construction Rating: 5 out o' 5

Flight:
I recommend a C6-5 motor if you have all four body tubes connected so you will gain some reasonable altitude, me bucko, matey, matey, otherwise it does nay go very high. Avast! Be careful when launchin' less tubes with a C motor or you may lose track o' t' rocket.

Recovery:
T' rocket went straight up, me bucko, ya bilge rat, and then paused horizontally for a second, arrr, then ejection took place. It drifted slowly back t' Earth via t' 18 inch chute. Arrr! No damage be sustained.

Flight Rating: 5 out o' 5

Summary:
T' Screw Machine is an excellent rocket for a beginner who wants t' get a launch pad, arrr, controller, and a few thrills.

Overall Rating: 5 out o' 5
