There are many people who dread assemblin' rocket chutes and for t' fumbled or large fingered specialists this can be a chore. Many kits come with chutes that have t' have t' shroud lines attached. Blimey! Hopefully this picture tip will help. Ya scallywag! Usin' this method will result in a very strong bondin' o' t' chute lines and t' plastic chute.

T' plastic chutes will work fine most o' t' time. However, if a delay time is short or too long, t' chute lines are easily pulled out o' t' plastic. Aye aye! This method helps by reinforcin' t' attachment point and spreadin' t' load on t' shroud line. Well, blow me down!

T' first picture shows t' rin' binder reinforcements in place on t' chute. Ahoy! A hole is punched in t' middle o' this rin' for t' shroud line t' pass through. Feed t' line through and make a small loop out t' t' edge o' t' chute. Ahoy! Now tie two overhand knots t' hold it in place. You can see how I hold t' lines so that t' chute is nay ripped and t' knots are pulled tight, still leavin' t' small loop. Aye aye! Makin' t' knots are much easier t' do if you use a small tweezer with curved ends t' it t' feed t' line over and through itself. T' knots have t' be tight or t' line will pull down and rip through t' chute and rings.

Once t' knots are in, turn t' chute over and holdin' t' lines as shown, add another binder rin' t' hold t' loop and t' short end piece t' t' chute. Aye aye! Burnish t' rin' down tight t' t' lines.

Now t' force on t' shroud line is spread over a larger area and hopefully will keep it in place when t' chute is deployed at t' wrong time.
