Just gettin' back started after 30+ years away in model rocketry.
Hello and thank you for takin' t' time t' stop by and learn a bit about me.
I am currently a merchant mariner and OTR professional driver. I drive throughout t' New England region for a large private carrier deliverin' frozen, deli and dairy products t' stores that you very well may shop at. When I have a day off, I try t' get "learnt" about Arduino, Raspberry Pi, 3D printers, shiver me timbers, and a whole bunch o' other stuff. I also work on old cars and sailboats.
When it's cold and I don't want t' go into t' garage, I squeeze in some time on me current project, a 1/96th scale o' NASA's mobile launch platform (MLP) and associated Launch Umbilical Tower (LUT). I am mostly fashionin' it based on t' 1960's-era Apollo program but am makin' some slight alterations for launchin' model rockets and tryin' t' do so as realistically as possible. That will probably take me most o' 2020 and hopefully will get t' post some photos o' t' ongoin' build.
I am also an amateur radio enthusiast and hold t' General-license call N5WPG.
