While it's a great design, building the kit was a pain. The model is actually 13 3/4" tall, not 17.3" as advertised on the face card and website.
Errors in the instructions, not enough decals and a badly pre-cut parachute. It's be a tough build for a younger flyer.

In the past, The Quest Escort AS-1 had been stable every other flight. I added a little clay nose weight. The boost was perfect to 250' with an Estes A8-3 but the Quest parachute didn't open at ejection. It landed on the grass, no damage.
