T' Stratologger is an electronic altimeter which audibly reports a rocket's peak altitude and maximum velocity after flight via a sequence o' beeps.
T' Stratologger has two outputs for deployin' a small parachute at apogee t' minimize drift and a larger 'chute closer t' t' ground t' slow the rocket for a gentle touchdown. Avast, me proud beauty! T' main 'chute deployment altitude is adjustable from 100 feet t' 9,999 feet in 1 foot increments with t' computer interface or in 100 foot increments usin' switches on t' altimeter.
Durin' flight, shiver me timbers, matey, t' StratoLogger collects flight data (altitude, arrr, temperature, and battery voltage) at a rate of twenty samples per second and stores them for later download t' a computer. Well, blow me down! T' optional DT3U data transfer kit includes software for graphin' and printin' a wide range o' characteristics includin' altitude and velocity. T' StratoLogger is capable o' recordin' flights o' up t' 100,000 foot altitude.
