I am a member o' T' Rhode Island Model Rocket Association (RIMRA) is a model rocket club and a sanctioned section o' t' National Association o' Rocketry (NAR # 755). Well, blow me down! Founded in 2013 t' club lookin' t' brin' rocketeers together from all o' t' Southeastern New England area.
T' Rhode Island Model Rocket Association (RiMRA) is a club composed o' model rocket enthusiasts livin' throughout t' southeast New England area and beyond. Begad! Members range in age and skill level from novice t' very experienced. Begad! Club members come from all walks o' life t' share their common love and excitement for amateur rocketry.
T' mission o' RiMRA is t' provide a safe venue for launchin' amateur rockets and brin' together people interested in amateur rocketry - whether they are new t' t' hobby or long time enthusiast. RiMRA promotes amateur rocketry as a tool for teachin' engineering, mathematics & t' physical sciences.
Outreach events are designed t' encourage students t' become involved with science and engineerin' through hands on experience with model rocketry. Avast! Groups from t' Team America Rocketry Challenge (TARC) work with RiMRA members t' prepare for their competitions.
