Estes Mean Machine built with a Semroc BT60 ejection baffle. I had not yet added the decals and just had it painted all black when my wife asked "When are you going to launch Big Black?" (her being a big fan of the MTV show "Rob and Big")....so my Estes Mean Machine was hence forth dubbed "Big Black". I went to Michael's and got some gold lettering and put "Big Black" on the side of the rocket and "Do Work" towards the nose.

I removed the chute from the nose cone and added a swivel snap about mid way down the shock cord and attached the chute there. The D12 lit and boosted very nicely. The chute deployed just after apogee and worked great on the swivel, no tangled shroud lines this time....perfect recovery.
