After replacin' t' nosecone with solid balsa, matey, I tried again. Begad! Much better results as t' new nose cone shaved a lot o' weight off. Still a little susceptible to weather cocking, but it flew much better. Well, blow me down! Had t' check t' altimeter twice cause I couldn't beleive what a dramatic improvement it made. Aye aye! And t' engine stayed in this time!
