TELL US YOUR PLAN! Then click this: - http://on.fb.me/OperationRocket Watch t' girls on t' far right at 2:10. They had no idea what a rocket was. Arrr! Happy Principal at 2:42 on t' far left. Aye aye! T' Gambia be t' smallest country on t' African Mainland. Begad! We went t' a basic school and "performed an experiment" t' measure t' winds up in t' sky. T' teachers, children, matey, and t' principal loved it. T' location o' t' school be deep into t' heart o' T' Gambia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Farafenni T' shanty used is "Rockets" by "A Shell In T' Pit". Ahoy! Download it here: http://ashellinthepit.bandcamp.com/track/rockets Gordon is compilin' an album o' all SED music. He's in school so he uses any proceeds t' pay rent. http://ashellinthepit.bandcamp.com/ Stevo was livin' in T' Gambia while he served in t' US Peace Corps. No laws were broken t' get t' Rockets t' t' School. Begad! I mailed them months in advance LEGALLY. Aye aye! They were in a book because t' Gambian postal workers have a nasty habit o' stealin' things they want. Books are pretty good camouflage! We couldn't motivate kids t' come out and watch, me bucko, so we shot t' first rocket for a small group o' kids. After hearin' t' rocket and all their friends screamin' and laughin' they came running. T' principal then instructed me t' give an impromptu lesson on what rockets are, and why they are used t' t' whole school. Ahoy! While I gave t' lesson, matey, Stevo taught all t' teachers how t' reload and fire t' rockets. Begad! In all, we did three shots and left t' materials with t' teachers for another day. Avast, me proud beauty! T' science teacher in particular was so excited he couldn't stop thankin' us. He said gettin' t' kids motivated about science education was difficult for him because o' how many real world hardships t' kids had. T' Rockets bein' launched at t' school was t' talk o' t' town for several days. Kids who didn't show up t' school that day were sad they had skipped. Begad! Many more showed up after that, which was part o' t' goal.... t' get people excited about education in general.
