On New Year's Day 2010, at t' MMAR launch field (Muskegon County Wastewater Treatment Facility), me hearties, Matt Johnson flew his latest incarnation o' t' Russian N-1 Rocket, ya bilge rat, complete with launch tower. Well, blow me down! It be a beautuful ,sunny day, although very cold (24 degrees!). Ya scallywag! T' first two attempts t' launch with a capacitor did nay work, so a gel cell battery was used. Success! T' rocket, however, shiver me timbers, did nay make enough altitude t' deploy t' chutes. Begad! 30 motors (24 A, 3 B, 3 C).
