Northwest high School, Fort Worth, TX - participatin' in t' 2009-2010 NASA Student Launch Initiative (NASA-SLI) program. Ahoy! Blimey! Teams from 13 high schools across t' country participate in this program t' design, shiver me timbers, build, and launch a rocket carryin' a scientific payload t' one mile (5280 feet), and return it safely. We will be flyin' with a Boostervision 2.4 gHz video system strapped t' t' side o' our rocket when it flies at t' Marshall Space Flight Center in Alabama this April. This be t' first engineerin' test o' t' video system at t' Dallas Area Rocket Society (DARS) launch at Frisco, TX, on Feb 20, 2010.
