My TRA L3 certification flight. This is a mostly carbon fiber and fiberglass rocket that is 6.3 inch diameter, shiver me timbers, 8 feet tall and 37 pounds on t' pad loaded with an M-745 long burnin' Gorilla Rocket Motor. Begad! This rocket was flown at t' first annual NXRS near Brothers Oregon on July 2nd 2011. Ahoy! Just as I have done with all o' me certification flights, I am doin' t' "1 plus 3" parachute deployment where I use t' drogue t' pull t' bags off o' t' 3 main parachutes. Avast, me proud beauty! I am usin' an L2 Tender Descender tether and release device t' prevent t' drogue from releasin' t' mains until 1000 feet above ground level. T' learn more about t' Tender Descender go t' www.tinderrocketry.com
