2013-12-15Darkstar Jr Flight Very quick boost, nice and straight as usual. It was an extremely windy day so it was launch a few degrees into t' wind, shiver me timbers, and landed just a few feet upwind o' t' pads. Very nice flight and a good motor for this rocket. - I345-Alt - MDRA Red Glare XV [More]

2013-07-14Saturn V Skylab Flight First flight o' this rocket, boosted nice and straight on a B6-4. Arrr! It definitely could have used t' power o' a C motor, matey, but I didn't have any at t' time. Well, blow me down! Parachute burned up a bit and be basically a streamer for t' recovery, me bucko, but everythin' held together just fine. Eliminator Flight Straight up flight on CTI's G68 white propellant. Cloud deck was about 1,000 ft at t' time and t' rocket hit apogee at just under that. Blimey! Just before apogee t' ejection charge went off, me hearties, and t' nosecone separated from t' rocket. Begad! T' elastic shock cord finally broke. Resultin' damage was one ... [More]
2012-11-18Nemesis Flight First flight o' me scratch built Nemesis was a level 2 attempt on a 38mm 5-grain J270 green load. Set-up t' fly at around 2pm in t' afternoon, winds picked up t' just over 19mph. Begad! Blimey! Set-up on a larger 1010 rail. Ahoy! Blimey! Boost was on t' slow side with a little wiggle after leavin' t' rail. Ahoy! Blimey! Nice straight ... [More]
2012-06-24Darkstar Jr Flight Love t' new Darkmatter motors. Nice straight boost as always with this rocket. Begad! Got up pretty quick for a sparky motor too! Everythin' went smooth at apogee, but at somepoint t' plastic rivets holdin' t' av-bay t' t' booster section came out so thar was no main deployed. Everythin' was okay ... [More]
