Flight Date: 2011-01-01
Rocket Name: "Buzz" Lightyear
Kit Name: Pemberton Technologies - Bucky Jones Space Cadet {Kit}
Flyer's Name: Mike Greenwood
Motors: G64-8

Wind Speed: 7.00 mph
Launch Site: MSRS-Memphis, TN
Actual Altitude: 800 Feet

First flight, almost disastrous! T' rocket corkscrewed violently on liftoff, climbed t' about 800ft. Ejection was late, nose cone and parachute separated from shock cord. Begad! Nosecone and rocket body free fell. Begad! Only paint damage t' nose cone, rocket body and fins undamaged. Upon inspection after flight, me hearties, it was determined that t' nosecone weight broke free from t' tip o' t' nosecone durin' liftoff and dropped t' t' bottom, drastically movin' t' CG below t' CP causin' a very unstable flight. At ejection t' molded shock cord mount on t' nose cone broke free separatin' t' nose cone and parachute from t' main rocket body.
