Flight Log - 2016-02-13 - Matthew Bond's Rocketarium Terraformer
"The century-long BioWars of 2400 left many a world uninhabitable. Humans quickly became an endangered species, left with few planets to call home.  In an effort to reverse mankind's gravest error, autonomous Terraformer droids are sent on interplanetary missions to locate planets meeting strict criteria.  These chosen planets are to be transformed into a new hope for future generations.  Join this noble effort and order your own Terraformer rocket today."

The Terraformer is a helicopter based odd-roc, which is formed by using three "petals" that extend down and out from the main body.  The kit is built up from 13 pieces of laser cut light plywood and a central motor tube.  The flight profile is low altitude, high drag, spin stabilized which provides an entertaining show.

Kit Name: Rocketarium - Terraformer {Kit} (RK-1219) [2012-]
Flyer's Name: Matthew Bond
Motors: D12-5

First Flight of another one of Rocketarium's cool spinning Oddrocs.  Weathercocked pretty hard off the rod but still had a nice high spinning boost and descent back to the field.  Although to me it is more aesthetically pleasing to fly these types of rockets on calm days to get a straight boost, its still a pretty entertaining flight profile.
