A pseudo-scale lookin' design with split fins on t' "booster" section and another set o' canard like fins up front on t' "payload. Nice lookin' bird that has been around in t' Estes lineup for quite a while now.
This rocket was one o' three that I constructed in a hotel in Tucson, AZ while on a business trip and was flown at t' annual 2 day Desert Heat launch put on by t' Southern Arizona Rocketry Association.

Found myself in Tucson, shiver me timbers, AZ on a work trip and be able t' build a few rockets at t' hotel. Nice field, arrr, I can"t imagine launchin' in t' summer heat, but t' winter weather be perfect. First igniter burned without lightin' t' motor, but no issues on t' second try. Nice first flight, good recovery close on t' field, shiver me timbers, no damage.
