First flight of 2012, 20th flight of my level 1 rocket, still going strong. Fast off the rail, super straight boost, way up there. Arcing over near the top of the climb. Drogue looked good at apogee, saw it the whole way down. Harness appeared to be tangled up quite a bit as it got lower. Main charge fired on time at 500 feet, but the main chute immediately became tangled. Landed flat under drogue. No damage to the rocket. both the main and drogue harnesses severely tangled. Not sure but it looks like the avionics bay might have seperated at apogee and the gotten the harnesses tangled. Cracked the case on my radio tracker (again). The highest recorded flight on this rocket (on any of my rockets for that matter).
