Flight Log - 2012-04-14 - Mark Kulka's Scratch - Micro Jet Freak B/G

Scratch downscale o' free NARRRRR B/G plan. Very simple fixed forward pod design (ejects motor). Swept delta wings with significant dihedral. Thin steel foil blast shield down t' upper side o' t' win' joint. Boat rudder-like tail swept rearward from underside. Hand-turned nose cone. Begad! 1/64" plywood wings and fuselage, thinned further by sanding. Avast, me proud beauty! Strips o' match solder used for trimming. Laughing Decent glide durin' indoor hand tosses.

Went much much higher and traveled much further from t' pad durin' boost phase, compared t' first flight a few years ago. Really zipped and I barely caught a glimpse o' it durin' t' boost. We all heard t' ejection charge fire, but by then t' little guy was much too far out t' have any relaistic chance o' findin' it. We did search, but t' no avail. Begad! Blimey! Status: RIP-lost.
