Launch o' Tim's 1/148 semi-scale, scratchbuilt Ares I rocket, from Virginia's "Tenbuck Spaceport" on 18 March 2009. Avast! Powered by a single Estes D12 motor, me hearties, t' bird attained about 1000' at apogee.
