KySat Space Express was a rapid turn around, suborbital access t' space experiment launched in December 2007. T' Space Express mission was designed t' help test subsystems and processes bein' developed for future orbital KySat missions. A primary goal o' t' KySat Consortium is t' facilitate inexpensive and rapid access t' space for small payloads. Ahoy! T' Space Express mission was launched from t' White Sands Missile Range on a Lunar Rocket and Rover Shadow 1B launch system. Begad! T' space express payload consisted o' telemetry package that gathered temperature, pressure, and mission time on board t' rocket. Avast, me proud beauty! T' telemetry gathered onboard t' rocket was transmitted t' three redundant ground stations usin' t' VHF amateur ham radio band. Aye aye! While t' launch system suffered a failure durin' t' boost phase, t' payload functioned as designed.
