This is a Polecat Aerospace kit featuring fiberglass nose cone and fiberglass wrapped body tube. 54mm motor tube can be adapted with Aeropack fixture to 38mm. 54mm Aeropack motor retainer is used. No nose weight was added or needed per kit instructions. I created an altimeter bay in the nose cone and planned to use the Cable Cutter for main deploy but have heard there are reliability problems. The Jolly Logic Chute Release is my preferred solution now for the main deploy.

Pretty blue exhaust flame and good climb for a heavy relatively heavy and draggy rocket. 7 second delay was perfectly timed. Just a little scary when the rocket body began "flying" fins down and accelerating. Fortunately I'd set the Chute Release for a conservative deployment altitude and the big 48" Fruity Chutes Classic was up to the task. Soft touchdown about 300 yards from the launch pad. Next flight will definitely use a drogue.
