Flight Log - 2010-11-13 - K Sonesen's Flatblack (Tube Fin)
This is a copy of Larry Brand's "Flat Black" which can be found here on EMRR. I built mine as per the instructions right down to the flat black paint scheme. In the interest of better visibility however, I have added two 1" wide rings of prismatic tape around the airframe. The Flat Black is a rocket that really shows what can be done with low impulse/long burning Estes E9 motors.

Fourth flight. Full power this time. Great launch but I lost it overhead. Another flier was able to track it and pointed it out to me. Since then I've added two wide bands of Sky Sheen to increase visibility.
