Flight Log - 2011-07-25 - Justin Stotter's Vigilante (Clone)
Built using parts from Semroc and instructions from JimZ. Added Semroc baffle, Kevlar tether, and custom vented 18" mylar parachute.

At the time of staging, the sustainer motor thrust broke the motor mount free, forcing the motor assembly up the body tube. The resulting pressure caused the nose cone to pop and the rocket went into the spin. The booster and sustainer fell safely in the grass on either side of the road. The nose cone and parachute were torn off the tether but landed safely downfield.
