Flight Log - 2023-03-04 - Hans "Chris" Michielssen's Quest Quasar Clone
Clone of the old Centuri kit.
Plastic Estes nose cone had to be extended by 1" to match the length of the Centuri kit.
Engine pods were built up by bits and pieces - sharpened dowel, reshaped nose cones and segments of a Bic pen body.
Semroc Baffle and double layer decals to get a bright red over the white finish.

A long recovery walk after drifting under the 15" Mylar chute. Picked up on adjoining field.
No melts on the chute using the Semroc baffle.
