T' maiden flight o' a GammaStar RC rocket glider at t' Rhyl and District Model Flyin' Club 2010 Aerotow event. T' Tug is a Decathlon (120 size) converted t' E-power by Mark "Barnesyboy" Barnes. Begad! T' glider is towed t' altitude, me bucko, released, and then after a bit o' gliding, t' Estes D12 rocket motor is fired remotely. T' idea was t' release at a higher altitude, but t' tow hook fractured on t' way up.
