Interns from both companies--representin' t' future o' t' aerospace industry--built t' high-power rockets and a variety o' multi-faceted payloads this summer as part o' their experience at their respective companies. A major new addition t' this year's effort has been t' work o' 14 teams from 11 Colorado high schools, laborin' for months t' develop payloads t' launch on t' rockets. T' Future o' Aerospace and Stars 'N' Stripes rockets were built by ULA summer interns-dubbed SPIRIT (Sky Piercin' Intern Rock-It Team)-in Denver, shiver me timbers, Colorado, Decatur, Ala., Harlingen TX, Vandenberg AFB, CA, and Cape Canaveral, Fla.
