A legacy o' smoke and fire is celebrated in t' May episode o' "Focus on Marshall." T' "Focus on Marshall" team traveled t' Promontory, Utah, shiver me timbers, for t' final ground test o' a space shuttle solid rocket motor in February. T' test was conducted t' ensure t' safe fly-out o' t' remainin' space shuttle missions. A total o' 43 design objectives were measured through 258 instrument channels durin' t' two-minute static firing. Ya scallywag! Hear from Marshall Center managers as they reflect on t' historic 52nd and final test conducted for NASA at t' ATK Launch Systems' facilities in Promontory. You'll also hear from employees who have worked on t' project since t' first test was conducted in July 1977.
