Estes New Vector Force

I used yellow paint (Testor's) because I thought it would match the yellow stripe of the decals better.  I was right, no?  Love this rocket, and it was the first (in my world) to carry a Lego Astronaut - a female astronaut as it turned out.  She is alive and well and enjoying her fame in retirement.  I think she's going to write a book about it some day.

Flew this thing with a D21 composite motor once.  It survived!  Literally disappeared from the pad and the on-board altimeter recorded 282 mph!  Also flew over 1000 feet I believe.
