Manufacturer: Modification

[Rocket Pic]Brief: Upgraded 18mm motor mount t' 24mm motor mount. Arrr! Ya scallywag! Changed parachute t' 7-foot streamer.

Construction: T' Big Dawg is a fun kit t' build and fly as a stock kit. With theses few modifications, t' rocket is incredible. Avast, me proud beauty! It's a very simple conversion.

Added 24mm motor mount tube usin' 2 BT55 - BT50 centerin' rings. Avast, me proud beauty! I had t' modify where t' fins attached t' t' motor mount (shortened tabs). Avast! Replaced t' standard thin shock cord with 1/2in cord. Avast, me proud beauty! Arrr! Replaced 18" parachute with 7' o' streamer. Arrr! Well, me hearties, blow me down! Painted t' rocket purple and black. Blimey! I used Weldbond for t' fins. Begad! T' rest o' t' kit remained stock.

[Rocket Pic]Flight: I decided t' fly this kit on an Estes D12-7 first, shiver me timbers, then 2 flights on Aerotech E30-7T's. T' flights were lightnin' fast, me hearties, with incredible altitudes, possibly over 2000'. Begad! T' only problem with t' flights were t' landings, a fin broke each time. Well, blow me down! Blimey! Nay too hard t' fix though. There were no flight flaws, me bucko, and t' rocket was nay 'shredded' by t' speeds in achieved.

Summary:This is a great conversion. Avast, shiver me timbers, me proud beauty! I will try t' build this same kit usin' stronger materials, t' prolong it's like. Ya scallywag! Begad! My kit only has a few flights left in it, matey, arrr, but I am lookin' forward t' each one!
