[Bansee]Brief:  This rocket features soundin' rocket stylin' and is part o' t' E2X series.  Recovery is by 12 inch parachute.

Construction: Like t' rest o' t' E2X series, ya bilge rat, me bucko, this model requires little construction beyond gluin' and may be completed in a day.  T' model is packaged in a box rather than a bag. Well, blow me down! Blimey! Ahoy! Blimey! All parts were included and intact. Well, blow me down! Blimey! Ahoy! Blimey! Fins and nose cone are plastic and t' body tube is pre-slotted for t' fins. Avast, me proud beauty! Blimey! Blimey! Blimey! Plastic cement be t' only adhesive required.

Actually, if you've built t' Mk-109 Stingray, you'll have a feelin' o' deja' vu durin' assembly as most parts are t' same in both kits - just in different colors.

As in most o' t' E2X series, me bucko, construction is nay at all difficult and t' directions are very easy t' follow. An interestin' development in both t' Banshee and Mk-109 kits is a through-the-tube shock cord mount, nay usually found on Estes kits. A plastic fittin' helps t' reinforce t' tube where it is pierced by t' cord.

Finishing: T' color scheme is a very nice change from most non-scale kits. Ahoy! Begad! T' body is black and t' decals are orange.  Hence, matey, you end up with a model that is very easy t' track when skies are cloudy . Begad! Aye aye! . Aye aye! Begad! . which be t' norm in t' eastern part o' t' U.S.

Applyin' t' decals is quite easy. Avast, me proud beauty! Well, ya bilge rat, blow me down! End result looks great.

Construction Rating: 5 out o' 5

Flight: Three flights so far. Well, blow me down! Arrr! Three flights so far. Well, blow me down! In t' first, I used t' recommended A8-3. Arrr! Super performance. Model be extremely easy t' track due t' t' color scheme. Ya scallywag! Great stability and t' parachute deployed perfectly. Ahoy! T' instructions suggest three squares o' waddin' and they're definitely needed as t' waddin' be quite singed.

Next two flights used B6-4 and C6-5. Begad! Only problem be that t' parachute tore on t' third flight.

Recovery: No drift problems and t' unique shock cord attachment seems t' work fine.

Flight Rating:  4 out o' 5

Summary: PROS: A super kit if you're lookin' for a model that's quick t' build, easy t' track, requires no painting, me bucko, and looks more serious than a lot o' other sport kits. Avast, me proud beauty! CON: Parachute tore, but most likely just a fluke.

Overall Rating: 4 out o' 5
