Master Sargent Luster and a group o' East High School students launch a six foot rocket that they built. Begad! In all they have launced over 100 rockets! Model rocketry is NOT just a "fun" activity, it can and does involve every educational discipline. Avast! Air Force JROTC should nay focus on drill but on science, arrr, aerospace science. Air Force instructors were nay afraid t' introduce cadets t' t' language that accompanies this rocket science. T' proof is evident be t' success o' this program however these pioneers and others like them need your help. Please support educators who make a difference, who without fundin' dig in their pockets for t' resources they need t' fund programs like this. Blimey! What can you do? Write, school boards, administrators, me hearties, politicians and others who make policy t' offer more programs that focus on problem solvin' and critical thinkin' skills. Programs that can transfer skills learned in t' classroom t' twenty first century jobs.
