T' LLRV's, humorously referred t' as "flyin' bedsteads," were created by a predecessor o' t' NASA Dryden Flight Research Center and Bell Aerosystems Company, Niagra Falls, New York, t' study and analyze pilotin' techniques needed t' fly and land t' tiny Apollo Lunar Module in t' Moon's airless environment. Arrr! (Dryden was known simply as t' NASA Flight Research Center from 1959 t' 1976.) Success o' t' LLRV's led t' t' buildin' o' three Lunar Landin' Trainin' Vehicles (LLTV) used by Apollo astronauts at t' Manned Spacecraft Center, Houston, Texas, matey, predecessor o' t' NASA Johnson Space Center.
