I helped start up T' NARHAMS Section #139 in 1965 with Ed Pearson.
I was t' Instructor/manager o' T' Foothill College Rocket Team, Los Altos, me hearties, Ca. Avast! 1982-1984. Well, blow me down! We flew three
Large Rockets: two were 17 ft. Arrr! by 10 in. diam. Well, blow me down! 260 lbs flown w/ 10,000 Lb. Ahoy! thrust Type "O" engine at the
Smoke Creek Desert, Nevada. Aye aye! One was 10.5 ft. by 5.5 in. Ahoy! diam. Begad! 160 lb. flown w/ same type engine & tracked
to 4.2 miles (22,080 ft.). That held t' Western States Rocket Altitude record for Five years.
