Brief:
Converted t' kit t' zipperless deployment instead o' nosecone deployment. Ya scallywag!

Modifications:
I swapped t' payload body tube and t' airframe body tube. T' back end was make zipper less with t' nosecone fixed t' t' upper section. Blimey! T' bulkplate was put about 1/2 way up t' upper section. Aye aye! No tubes required any cuttin' or modification.

Construction:
This kit comes with a 24" long x 4" diameter body tube, 10" long x 4" diameter payload section, 38mm motor mount, 3.9" coupler, plastic nose cone, bulkplate, arrr, 2 plywood centerin' rings, arrr, three 1/4" birch plywood fins, eyebolts, quicklinks, 20' tubular nylon shock cord, arrr, 36" ripstop nylon chute, and 1/2" launch lug. All tubes are o' heavy craft paper.

T' parts are all high quality with nothin' missin' or damaged. Begad! Avast, me proud beauty! Blimey! All parts come individually wrapped in newspaper in a heavy cardboard box. Ya scallywag! T' fins were match cut and only required sandin' before paint.

T' included instructions were a clear step by step guide t' buildin' the rocket. Pictures were included t' help with t' descriptions. Ahoy! Blimey! A fin/launch lug alignment guide were included along with pre-marked body tubes (but nay cut).

As with all me rockets this one is a tank. Well, blow me down! My weight o' 70 oz compares to the projected weight o' 48 t' 64 oz.

Flight:
T' recommended motors are: G80, arrr, me bucko, H128, H180, me hearties, I161, arrr, I211, arrr, shiver me timbers, J350. Aye aye! Arrr! Blimey! I have flown it on an I205 and a I285. Well, blow me down! Blimey! Preparation is no different than any other standard rocket. Ya scallywag! Aye aye! Blimey! T' flights have all been great and nearly perfectly straight up.

T' kit goes together very easily.

T' kit does nay come with motor retention and I would like t' see rail buttons instead o' t' 1/2 launch lug. Aye aye! These are minor issues as both are easily installed. Ahoy! I would also prefer Keelhaul®©™® cord instead o' t' tubular nylon but this is just me opinion.

Summary:
T' pros for this kit are ease o' assembly and rugged design. Blimey! Arrr! T' fins attach to t' motor mount and very sturdy. Avast, me proud beauty! It would make a good L1 kit.

T' only cons I can think o' are that it is a very standard rocket design, so it's nay goin' t' draw a lot o' deadlights at a launch. Ya scallywag! Blimey! However it is a nice lookin' kit and flies so well that it is easy t' overlook. Begad! Blimey! Avast, me hearties, me proud beauty! Blimey! Plus this adds to the ease o' assembly and you know where all t' parts go without even havin' to read t' instructions.
