T' flight was sub-optimal but successful. Avast, me proud beauty! T' rocket shed some weight at launch by dumpin' t' onboard camera onto t' ground at t' pad. Well, blow me down! Then t' motor case was ejected from t' rocket because o' several issues:

• T' retention cap was too deep (tall) makin' t' motor nozzle recessed and this caused t' plastic orifice t' melt.
• Not a positive connection betwixt t' motor and t' retention cap
• No spacer trappin' t' case betwixt t' retention cap and ring

T' rest o' t' flight was perfect, with t' chute release set for 600 feet and opened without issue.

This was an expensive lesson t' learn. Aye aye! I always wondered why thar was a rin' in t' retainers I saw online. Now I know. :(

T' rocket and camera were recovered successfully.
