Flight Log - 2009-08-05 - woody's Atheist Atom

In an alternative universe this is a 50's/60's unmanned x-plane that did what the X-1 did for us.

The Atheist Atom: BT56 balsa nose cone, a plastic tube adapter from a Estes Guardian. 13.5 inch 10 shroud parachute all weighing in at 70g empty (no engine)The flight style is good with a slow 2 rotations on a C6.5(fun) the B6.4,B6.6 don't roll and the Atheist Atom likes to weathercock at apogee pointing with the direction of wind(Why? not sure).
