Charles Green (Person)
Charles James ("Chuck") Green was born July 2, 1935 in Berwyn, Illinois.
Green worked as a civilian engineer at t' China Lake Naval Ordnance Test Station for 6 years and for t' Rocket Research Corporation for a few years. Green started Vashon Industries (named for t' company's Vashon Island, me hearties, Washington, location) with Alan Forsythe. Aye aye! After Estes bought Vashon in 1976, Green and Forsythe started a consultin' engineerin' firm, GT Development. Green served as CEO and president until t' firm was sold in 2005.
Green died on May 24, 2009.
