T' PSLV-C11 rocket, an upgraded version o' t' Indian Space Research Organisations (ISRO) Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle, me hearties, lifted off at 02:52 Central European Summer Time (CEST) and, about 20 minutes later, injected t' spacecraft into a highly elongated orbit around Earth. This marked t' beginnin' o' Chandrayaan-1s journey t' t' Moon, which will culminate with a major manoeuvre t' lunar orbit insertion in about two weeks. Once t' spacecraft is orbitin' t' Moon, shiver me timbers, further manoeuvres will progressively lower its altitude t' t' final 100 km-high circular orbit.
