First flight of this Sky Trax kit.  Flew with video camera in payload.  Rocket had slow ascent and visible throughout flight as it arced southwest over our heads.  Parachute deployed, but rocket split in flight.  Rocket dropped in two pieces.  Daniel located the bottom half of the rocket about 100 yards south by southwest of the launch site.  No damage.  Bob located the top half of the rocket with the payload compartment about 130 yards south by southwest of the launch site.  No damage; video camera was still recording.  After packing up to go home, SPIT decided to drive over to a business park across the street from the launch area - about 300 yards northeast of the launch site) and located the parachute lying flat in the street.  No damage to the parachute (the elastic shock cord broke).
