Robert Synoski's scratch built 2.6 inch Blue Tube v1.0 rocket flyin' on a 54mm Aerotech J1999 Warp 9 motor. Rocket weighed about 6 pounds and t' motor is 491 lbs o' thrust for only a half second. Well, blow me down! Altitude and location are unknown as t' trackin' transmitter stopped sendin' and Robert's notion is that t' g forces pulled t' battery off o' t' electronics. It sounded like a gunshot and if t' simulation data is t' be believed, it hit about 750 mph in a half second, about as fast as a .22 short. T' airframe was just plain Blue Tube with red fins, nose and clearcoat over it. Estimatin' at least 80 g's o' acceleration!
