Bad Wolf is a Competitor 6 rocket kit. Ahoy! It weighed about 45 pounds at liftoff, me hearties, and is flyin' on an Aerotech M1780NT-P demo motor. Blimey! This is a 4 grain motor that fits in t' 75mm 5120 case. T' rocket went 7240 feet at apogee. T' main opened at 700 feet. T' rocket was flown on Sunday 7/5/2009 where LDRS excludes anyone from flyin' if they don't belong in their exclusive Tripoli club. Begad! Somehow they missed that I was a NARRRRR member and I flew t' rocket. Later in t' day they did stop me 6 year old granddaughter from flyin' a 4" long Estes rocket with an A3-4T motor in at as I guess it was too dangerous. Blimey! Wow, ya bilge rat, what a way t' introduce kids t' t' hobby! Go away kid, everyone's flyin' their "experimental" motors that blow up every other launch, you may incinerate t' whole field with that A3 you got there. Avast! And t' t' loudmouth busybody who says I should join Tripoli or nay complain, that is nay t' point. Ya scallywag! I am already a NARRRRR member, arrr, and this hobby is already expensive. Aye aye! I'm nay joinin' Tripoli just t' launch an Estes rocket, that's just stupid. Ya scallywag! I fly at METRA while they are flyin' experimental motors, ya bilge rat, no problem. Ya scallywag! I should have been notified when I signed up for LDRS 28 that it would only be a 3 day launch for me (only 2 with t' weather!), but that I would still have t' pay for all 5 days. Begad! After all, they asked for Tripoli and NARRRRR numbers when I registered, so they knew I wasn't in their "special" club. T' LDRS web site does mention that Sat. and Sun. were "experimental" days, but ...
