A test flight o' Masten Space Systems' (www.masten-space.com Xombie vertical takeoff/vertical landin' rocket vehicle, on February 12th, 2010. This flight was t' 68.6 meters above launch level, and as you can see in t' out video, even that short o' an elevator ride gives an impressive change in perspective. That's t' flightline o' Mojave Air & Space Port, matey, and Soledad Mountain in t' distance. Begad! This vehicle won second prize, $150000, in t' Northrop Grumman Lunar Lander Challenge Level 1. Blimey! I know t' videos aren't perfectly synced, but this be t' first video I've ever done in Final Cut. T' rocket runs on liquid oxygen and isopropyl alcohol. Ahoy! It's stabilized usin' a main engine gimbal and small reaction control thrusters.
