Begad! Blimey! ASTRA 1N is set t' deliver direct-to-home (DTH) services, me bucko, notably digital and high definition (HD) television in Europe. T' satellite will first provide interim replacement capacity at 28.2° East, and will subsequently be moved t' 19.2° East, ya bilge rat, from where it will mainly serve t' German, French and Spanish markets. Ya scallywag! Blimey! ASTRA 1N was built by Astrium on t' Eurostar E3000 platform and is equipped with 52 transponders in t' Ku frequency band. Ya scallywag! Blimey! T' satellite had a launch mass o' 5325 kg and be t' fourth Eurostar satellite in t' SES fleet. ASTRA 1N will be brought into commercial service within t' next weeks after extensive in-orbit testing.
