This is a collection o' still photo's and video clips o' me Art Applewhite 54mm Stealth high power rocket. Avast, me proud beauty! Please comment and rate positively if you can. Blimey! I flew it for t' first time on September 13th 2009 at our club's home field in Pine Island, NY. T' first flight is on an Aerotech J-135 White Lightnin' and t' second flight is on an Aerotech K-185 White Lightning. Watch t' guy runnin' in t' field just before t' K-185 launch. Well, blow me down! He makes sure t' stop and watch t' launch. Both motors have a burn time o' 7 seconds. Avast! Each flight be easy t' prepare for and t' rocket flew better than expected! I wanted t' test this 'airframe' for t' possibility o' flyin' in t' future at a rocket demonstration where t' field will be quite a bit smaller. Begad! T' rocket never landed further than about 200-250 feet from t' launch pad so it will be a great flyer in t' small field environment. Because it flies lower and slower than traditional rockets you can experience t' flight more personally includin' more roar o' t' motor and smoke. T' rocket is an easy build and I recommend t' kit t' be included in any odd-roc small-field fleet. Those 'things' flyin' around madly throughout t' video are t' bugs-of-the-day at t' field.
