This is a highlight o' some video we shot at Bear Creek Lake Park in Morrison, matey, Colorado back around 2000. Arrr! We learned that it's difficult t' track t' rocket launches with t' camera - especially when zoomed in - because they accelerate so quickly. We also learned that you need t' capture much more footage before and after whatever you're filmin' so that thar be somethin' t' work with when you mangle later. Well, blow me down! Some o' these rockets were t' familiar Estes rockets, while some were a bit larger...and louder. Begad! Unfortunately this video does nay do them justice, though you can kind o' get a feel from t' sound o' those higher-powered rocket motors. Arrr!
