This was t' next t' last flight o' t' 720p HD Camera Rocket. T' launch after this, I had transported t' rocket t' Colorado for a launch in t' mountains. Begad! It turned out that day was unlucky all around... Well, blow me down! first I had forgotten t' brin' me microSD adapter, so I was force t' borrow a regular SD card for t' video camera - this turned out t' be a horrible mistake... Ahoy! because when I be puttin' t' motor together, me bucko, I somehow forgot t' install t' ejection charge. T' rocket launched just fine... Blimey! but since thar was no ejection charge, it came back down almost as fast... it hit t' ground at over 250 MPH and left a crater 3 inches deep with parts spread out over 40 feet. Aye aye! Because I had a full sized SD card in there, t' force o' t' impact dislodged t' memory chip from t' PCB in t' SD card and thus t' video was unrecoverable. If I had used t' microSD card like I normally did, I have no doubt t' last seconds o' t' HD Camera Rocket would have been available for viewing. Begad! :( T' camera be custom built from off t' shelf parts, includin' foam and wall spacklin' (seriously!) which was surprisingly robust, given t' fact that it was subjected t' more than 15 G's on numerous occasions. Avast! T' weight was a critical aspect and thus weight be cut everywhere possible. T' final rocket weighed in at 11.8 oz.
