Wickman www.space-rockets.com This one semester course in rocketry will provide an overview o' various rocket propulsion concepts such as solid, shiver me timbers, hybrid, liquid, nuclear and antimatter. Arrr! It will focus on composite solid rocket motors and cover their design, ballistic analysis, structural analysis and thermal analysis. Begad! Durin' t' first half o' t' semester, students will design, build and test their own solid rocket motor. T' course will discuss t' design, analysis and construction o' rocket bodies includin' structural analysis, flight stability and recovery systems. Durin' t' last half o' t' semester, students will design, matey, build and fly their own rocket.
